The founder of Magia Catering is Mari Hyyrynen. Food prepared the Mari way is flavorful, colorful, and nourishing. One of her greatest strengths is her ability to combine traditional ingredients in new and surprising ways.

Over a career spanning more than 15 years, Mari has worked everywhere from large-scale catering events to some of Helsinki’s most renowned cultural institutions, as well as fine dining restaurants in Iceland. 

As Head Chef at Kiasma and Ateneum, she spent many years overseeing both daily restaurant operations and demanding private and corporate events. Today, this diverse experience is reflected in every aspect of Magia Catering: strong professional expertise, carefully curated experiences, and a bold approach to combining flavors.
